Here's what's going on ......

"You mean there's something going on besides the Convention"?

June kicks off the summer and NENY Area 48 is holding its Joy of Service assembly this Saturday in Whitesboro, NY (near Utica). It's hosted by the famous "Western Cluster" . Please come out in person if you can. Like all area events, it's hybrid and available virtually. Check out the Zoom link and GPS directions in the links below.

Also on Saturday is the Summer Cookout in Albany, at the Corning Preserve (picnic area). It's hosted by the Center Square Promises Group. Bring your own blanket, chairs, and a dish to share if you can. Precise GPS directions are in the link below.

On Saturday, June 22nd, there are a couple of great fun times happening. District 5 is again hosting its Founder's Day Celebration in Saratoga Springs, NY. You just cannot beat the food here. Of course, there's an old timer's panel and a speaker sandwiched around that great dinner.

You might consider going to a "Recovery Matinee" at the Cohoes Center - sponsored by District 2. Come see the movie- here's the trailer: "Flight" - starring Denzel Washington. Popcorn & Fellowship.

Now..... back to this convention stuff.

The first week of November will be here before you know it. If you've been to an Area 48 convention you know firsthand what a great event it is. This year will be no exception. It's in Albany, hosted by the Great Eastern Cluster.

Early Bird registration is open until August 31st. Reserve your hotel early too. Some of you may remember that the group rates are limited by availability - so check it out.
