2025 has been another eventful year for A.A. throughout Northeastern New York and the Capital Region. The Area was able to again fill all service positions, and the Central Office is "mostly full". In July, The A.A. International Convention was held in Vancouver, BC. The Area was host this year to the New York State Informational Workshop [NYSIW] in Milan, NY in August, and the World Famous NENY Area 48 Convention was held in Johnston; hosted by the Central Cluster.

A couple of groups let us know about celebrating more than 80 years. The Oneonta Sunday Night Group celebrated 80 years, and The Original Troy Group marked 81 years. We know that there are more than a few groups in the Area celebrating 80 or more years, so let us know this year if your group is one of these and we can post it in the CDCO News.

Before we forget - In July the CDCO hosted a couple of workshops conducted by Homegroup.Online, A National Central Office providing 7th Tradition & Treasury Services for AA Groups and Districts.. We are again hosting a year-end Workshop on Monday, December 15th at 7:00 PM EST. Hopefully your district or group can squeeze in the hour - it may prove beneficial.
