Here we go, we're off to a brand new year and many fresh beginnings. First off, for Area 48, we have a new service lineup. Thanks so much for all who have stood up to do do service for the area.

The Central Office also sees a few service positions filled with new recruits, but we're hoping to encourage other new faces to help carry the message in 2026. Please check out the volunteer link in the newsletter.

There new year bring a brand new Monthly Traditions Workshop held on the 3rd Sunday of each month @ 7:00 pm EST. The meeting will be one hour followed by a one hour facilitated parking lot discussion. The format of the first hour will include a speaker who comes prepared to do a 20-minute lead on the tradition for that month. The meeting will then open for shares on the tradition and shares on experiences other members have had. While facilitated, the second hour is intended to be more informal and hopes to elicit interest and enthusiasm about the traditions. The first meeting will be on Sunday, January 18th. It will be on the 1st Tradition. So, please check it out.

District 2 is banging it out with a great Movie Night on the 24th, followed up soon after with its World famous Super Bowl Party - this year it's at St. John's so check out the event link below.

Here's a great New year's resolution for you - Come join the Area Tech Committee. You don't have to be technical as we, will no doubt, have a great many interesting projects in 2026. We meet the 4th Wednesday at 7:00 PM. You'll enjoy it!!!!
