Last Month we introduced the Area 48 Tech sub-Committee for district website enthusiasts. The initial meeting was a resounding success. Come join us this Wednesday.

This issue contains a field report prepared from this year's Founder's day. It's also time to remind you not to forget the 2026 Area 48 Annual Convention, in Saranac Lake - November 6th - 8th. There's a link below for the registration information.

Now, let's get down to the business of Summer Recovery. There are just too many things happening this summer to go into any detail. You can count on tech stuff, a bunch of picnics, area events, workshops, and a big all-day bus trip to the G.S.O. [do birds pack a lunch? .... we'll see]. The list below is incredible, and everything goes up in flames, for the 20th time, at the annual Burning Desire Bonfire.

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) Founder’s Day is celebrated annually on June 10th. It commemorates the historic date in 1935 when Dr. Bob Smith took his last drink, marking the beginning of his permanent sobriety and his first meeting with co-founder Bill Wilson.
