The CDCO has the 2020 Alkathons posted on the website Events calendar at https://AAalbanyNY.org. We just know that group members in all of the districts are looking forward to participating in these fantastic virtual events. Just think, even if you go away for the holidays, or the weather is absolutely unbearable, you'll still be able to participate. Let's get ready to participate!

The 2020 Virtual Alkathon Committee Meetings
|
There is a District 1 organized planning committee meeting every Wednesday at 7:00 PM via Zoom.
|

|
|
|

We have an informal list of meetings that have very recently announced that they are moving to In-Person or Hybrid. We have other meetings that are going the other way and moving back online

My Name and My Problem
|
We learned some sad news recently. We lost a district 1 and district 2 mainstay with the passing of Ron B. -aka "My Name and My Problem is Ron". Ron was a member of A.A. for over 30 years and was known for often bringing up the topic of "working the program - not the problem".

He once recalled seeing a blackboard, while in rehab, which read ..... "The elevator to sobriety is broken. Please use the steps". Thanks for all of your experience, strength, and hope that you shared with us Ron.
