April puts us right in the middle of spring for Alcoholics Anonymous. The signs are definitely showing; the weather is becoming more pleasant and our Area delegate, Tammie E., has plenty to work with following last month’s Delegates Day of Sharing. She will represent Area 48 at the upcoming General Service Conference to be held on April 23rd in Brooklyn, NY.
Fellowship Day is rapidly approaching - April 15th. The message of AA will be in focus; how the message moves up and down the AA service structure, and how technology impacts how we carry that message. Also to be explored is the importance of GSRs - who are arguably the backbone of carrying the message.

Please keep in mind that NENY Area 48 has a Technology Committee that meets on the third Tuesday of each month. This is an excellent way to participate in a type of service that is sure to broaden your horizons. Please plan on joining. The link is above. You don't have to be a techie - we need help all around.
