A Plea for Help

The AA Capital District Central Office greatly appreciates all the support local groups and individuals are providing and have provided in the past.


Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, many AA members have lost their jobs and many AA groups that are meeting online are not receiving the income in contributions that they did when meeting in person. As a result, contributions to the GSO, the Area, the Districts, and the Central Office have fallen off sharply.

For example, In August 2020, the Capital District Central Office fell $503.00 short of the bills it had to pay for the month. The Office has been “in the red” 5 of the past 6 months. It pays $602 per month just for rent.

To those AA individuals and AA groups that are still blessed with good income, please consider making a contribution if you can. Only AA members and AA groups can contribute to AA.
