Here's what's going on ......
Two big picnics are on the board this weekend. The 59 Minute Meeting is holding its annual Summer Cookout on Saturday, August 12th at Snyder's Lake. That's followed up on Sunday with the Annual Summer Picnic hosted by District 5 at Saratoga State Park.
The Area 48 Technology Committee is meeting on Tuesday August 15th. Tech is always looking for new members, so please consider joining.
District 20 is Area 48's virtual district. You may know that there are now three virtual districts serving the U.S. and Canada. Two of these districts are holding an Online District Roundtable which meets monthly - on the 3rd Sunday. We wouldn't be surprised if the newest virtual district joins soon. Check it out.
The CDCO is looking for steering committee volunteers. These positions focus on the newsletter, literature / bookstore, call reporting from both office and night owl volunteers. Other positions provide assistance in helping with website reports, and events updating.

Alternate IT Coordinator
This position assists the IT Coordinator with the coordination of CDCO technology such as phones, computers, printers, routers, and Internet services.
The Alternate IT Coordinator helps oversee operations relevant to maintaining an effective presence on the Internet for both the CDCO public website and CDCO-Net; the secure Volunteer web resource portal.
